10/11 quick update
The hospital staff seems to be pretty pleased with little Tovar. In general he's been doing well, although he has a moderate PDA right now, so they haven't given him any food yet and won't until they get it closed up :( With luck, it will be closed up tomorrow, since they're finishing the round of drugs he's on for it tonight.

I managed to get several 1ml vials of collostrum for him, and my regular milk started coming in more heavily yesterday and seems to have taken over entirely today. I'm now pumping 8times/day (every 2-3hrs), which I will continue until he comes home.

My mom is staying with me and helping out until Sunday, and we're working on getting a routine down. I'm not quite ready for other visitors yet, because pumping, sleeping, eating and spending time with the baby a couple times a day take up almost every waking hour I have, even with another person helping me out full time: stopping to write journals and emails gets me behind ;) But hopefully I'll continue to become more efficient and stronger.

Of those who offered to help, I am interested for after my mom leaves. However, for those who sign up, I want to be very clear ahead of time that it is very tiring and complete charity on your part ;) I've worked myself to the point of blurry vision both today and yesterday, worked Patri to the point of sickness, and my mom stayed with me at the hospital today for 12hrs straight, and pretty much any time when I wasn't sleeping or visiting the baby I was asking her to get or do things for me. (clean the bottles and breast pump attachments, get food from the cafeteria, dole out my medications and vitamins, drop breast milk off with the baby, and other things of that nature)

So, if you're interested, please email Patri. Its probably not worth doing unless you can spend a few hours, since I have to "train" you, and as stated, it won't be any fun, I probably won't even have time/energy to talk to you ;)
